Cheese knife design Michel and André Bras Cheese knife with handle made from stamina wood
To celebrate the painter Pierre Soulages: Exclusive Laguiole knife whose shape is subtly similar to that of a paint brush
The story begins with a request by the famous French chefs Michel Bras and his son Sebastian. They want something different, a knife that carries within a spirit of their region. The Forge de Laguiole cutler André BRAS ( Michel's brother ) responded immediately with a capuchadou, but one that is inspired by the 21st century.
For its 25th anniversary, Forge de Laguiole asked Philippe Starck for a new creation : The stainless steel handles provide a matte wood effect

Flared at its base as the trunk of a tree, the handle rests on a circular support of stainless steel.
